MarCo Property Services is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting / Data Entry Clerk to join our office team. This position supports our accounting department with day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, and general administrative functions.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers, and able to keep up in a busy, fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Enter accounts payable invoices accurately and timely

  • Assist with accounts receivable entry and processing

  • Enter and maintain accounting and job-related information

  • Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy

  • Assist with vendor and customer account questions

  • Maintain organized electronic and paper records

  • Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and other accounting tasks as needed

  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and office team

  • Communicate with vendors, customers, field personnel, and other departments when needed

  • Help ensure accounting paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly documented

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills

  • Comfortable working with numbers and handling repetitive data entry

  • Basic understanding of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable preferred

  • Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office

  • Accounting or construction accounting software experience is a plus

  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures

  • Professional communication skills

  • Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in where needed

Experience in construction, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Location: Midlothian, VA – In Person
